Edinburgh Zoo offers businesses 'Panda Partners' deal

A deal that will provide lucrative advertising and give exclusive access to Panda's kept at Edinburgh Zoo is being offered to thousands of business insurance customers. For £3,000, companies and businesses can become official 'Panda Partners,' and reap a number of benefits from the scheme.
The Scotsman reported on the deal, saying that Edinburgh Zoo is hoping that small and medium sized businesses will be able to afford to join the scheme. With many businesses suffering lower profits, and overheads like utility bills and business insurance not getting any cheaper, becoming a 'Panda Partner' could prove to be a cheap way to advertise.
The two Pandas, named Yang Guang and Tian Tian, are sure to be a hit at Edinburgh Zoo, and it's expected that the number of visitors will at least double over the next year. Businesses that join the scheme will have their corporate banner displayed along the walkway leading to the Panda enclosure, and be given ten free tickets for admission into the Zoo. But the most interesting benefit of the £3,000 a year scheme is the opportunity to see the panda's out of normal opening hours. A total of six people can enjoy an encounter with the Panda's in an exclusive viewing gallery, where they are served wine and canapés.
As a way to reward loyal customers or hard-working employees, business insurance policyholders could provide an exclusive encounter with the two Panda's kept at Edinburgh Zoo.
